| Hi, my name is
Chris. I run this website as a public service to the
world. AskFranSlanders.com originally started in 1996
when I was visiting a local bar outside Charleston, SC.
I met this inquisitive woman having a vodka martini named
Fran Slanders. As I remember her, she was quite
attractive. I'm figuring around early to mid 30's,
5'7" with long dark hair. Disclaimer: My
recollection may be somewhat skewed as it was nearing
closing time and I was quite inebriated. Anyway,
in speaking to this mysterious person, I learned she was a
plethora of knowledge and appeared to be highly educated.
We're talking MENSA qualities here! We discussed
problems with the world and the various human mentalities
that caused such issues. I told her I was a computer
guy and asked if she would like to express her views to help
out humanity. She agreed, I gave her my contact
information and we both went on our separate ways.
Fast forward to 2008. I finally
receive an email from Fran. She apologized for taking
so long to get back to me. Her message said she just went
through another divorce (I think this was her fifth) and was
ready to get started with what we discussed in that little
dive 12 years earlier. I responded to her email but it
was rejected. I've since found out she consistently
creates new addresses and sends them to me when she feels
like it. Her earlier addresses are now void. I
guess she doesn't want to be contacted until she's ready.
So, occasionally I get her current contact
information so I can submit to her the questions received on
this website. She responds with her answers and then I
wait till she contacts me again. Nobody really knows
what Fran looks like. If you think you've spotted her,
be sure to send us
her photo. We'll investigate it and post it
here
if we think it's a possibility.
