Just looking for some Wedding Shower Etiquette. What do you think about inviting people to a wedding shower who are not invited to the wedding. I think it is wrong and is really tacky, but I could be wrong. What are your thoughts..?

I think it is a fine idea. Who cares about etiquette? It is all about the gifts and once offended they are less likely to be pestering you after the wedding. Clearly, you have not thought of the advantages.
