I'AM MARRIED 2 MY HIGH SCHOOL SWEETHEART. BUT I'M ALSO HIS 3RD WIFE. HERE'S MY QUESTION 1st WIFE CALLS AFTER 27YRS LATER 2 TELL US HIS DAUGHTER WHO HE HASN'T SEEN IN THAT TIME. WANTS 2 MEET DAUGHTER FROM 2ND WIFE WHO HAVE ALWAYS HAD CONTACT WITH & WHO HAS ALWAYS KNOWN ABOUT THE 1st DAUGHTER THEY LIVE IN SAME STATE 20MILES FROM EACH OTHER & HAVE MET ONCE WENT GREAT BUT 1st DAUGHTER HAS NOT TALKED 2 FATHER YET. IS HE 2 MAKE 1st MOVE OR WAIT?

Dear Stepmother,

I think your “sweetheart” has done enough moving and shaking for a lifetime.  How old are you two anyway?  Did you two go to Bedrock High?  I thought I was old but if the first wife dates back 27 years and then he had a second wife before you two took the plunge you must both be twice my age.  Maybe that is only in dog years and it sounds as though he may have some experience with canine behavior. But, I digress.  I’d sit tight maybe some more offspring will show up and make it really interesting.
